About us
Hello there! We are an Argentinian team from Berazategui, Buenos Aires. We are currently participating of the NASA Spaceapps Challenge 2020, Covid-19 edition.
We decided to create an app, Ignizard, to asist and inform the civilians in case of a Fire near the location of the user.
Why Ignizard?
The name Ignizard was given to our project due to the sum of "igni" that means fire in latin and the ending of "wizard" resulting in a pun to combine these two terms.
In adition, our name Dosdejunio, makes reference to June the secondth, volunteer firefighters day in Argentina, portraying the importance of their services in a day-to-day basis to combat flames and save civilians lives.
